From Virginia - I-66
1) Take I-66 East all the way to the Roosevelt Bridge.
2) Stay in the center lane to Constitution Avenue.
3) Take Constitution all the way to 7th Street NW, and make a left.
4) Several blocks up make a left onto Florida Avenue.
5) Nellie's is two blocks on the left at the corner of 9th and U Streets.
From Virginia - I-395
1) Take the 14th St. Bridge across the river, follow 14th St. north.
2) Take a right on U Street.
3) Nellie's is on the right at the corner of 9th and U Streets.
From Maryland - Baltimore
1) I-95 South. At Beltway, follow 95 South/495 East signs.
2) Exit onto Baltimore-Washington Parkway (295 South).
3) Exit onto New York Ave (Route 50 West).
4) Four miles later, take right on Florida Ave. (landmark: Wendy's).
5) Florida Avenue turns into U Street and Nellie's is located on the corner of 9th and U Streets.
From Maryland - From Points NW
1) I-270 to I-495 East.
2) Follow 495 to Georgia Avenue and exit south towards DC.
3) Take Georgia through Silver Spring and into the District.
4) Turn right onto Florida Ave after you pass Howard University Hospital.
5) Nellie's is two blocks on the left at the corner of 9th and U Streets.
From Maryland - Via Wisconsin Ave
1) Go south, take a left on Garfield (At the national cathedral).
2) Take a right on Massachusetts.
3) Take a left on Q St.
4) Turn left on Vermont.
5) About four blocks turn right onto U Street. Nellie's is one block on the right at the corner of 9th and U Streets.
Via Metro
1) Take the Green Line to the U Street stop.
2) Make sure you walk out on the Vermont Ave. side and NOT 13th street side. The Vermont street side is at the intersection of Vermont, 10th, and U.
3) When you get to the ground level, make a "U" turn and walk to the right (east) along U Street.
4) Cross Vermont Avenue and Nellie's is one block on the right at the corner of 9th and U Streets.
